So let’s introduce you to some of the friendly faces you can expect to see visiting our hair salon.
Meet The Team
Emma took over Nu Yu in November 2015, and she has loved building the salon up to what it is today. She has been a qualified stylist for 18 years, with a wide range of experience of ladies & gents cutting and colouring.
Her favourite service is a colour correction or total transformation “I love making clients feel their best”
Emma is currently taking bookings on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Sharon has been in the hairdressing industry for 28 years, and now she has been a part of the Nu Yu team since 2015.
Sharon enjoys all aspects of hairdressing, and has varied creativity, from classic and timeless cuts and colours, to the latest trends, balayage, ombré, babylights and root melts. You will be in safe hands with Sharon, and always ready for a chat and good hair advice.
Sharon works on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, including a late night on a Thursday.
Jo joined Nu Yu in 2016. She has been working in the hairdressing industry as a stylist since 2008.
Jo is enthusiastic about colour. Balayage, babylights, blondes, anything to do with colour. Jo likes a challenge so if you’re in need of a colour correction, your be in safe hands.
She offers a range of services from hair colour, treatments, cutting and styling.
Jo is available for bookings on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Sam has been hairdressing for almost 18 years, and she rejoined the Nu Yu team in July 2022.
Sam loves cutting and colouring and making her clients feel good. She says “ I like meeting new people and seeing returning clients.”
Sam is available for bookings.
Beth joined the Nu Yu team in August 2021. She completed her NVQ level 2 in hairdressing in November 2022. she is now working towards her NVQ level 3, and looking forward to building up her clientele. Beth is passionate about blonde services. Beths favourite part of hairdressing is satisfying her clients, and making them feel happy about their hair. She loves to make clients feel comfortable, and meeting new people.
Beth is available for bookings on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and is currently offering 10% off, whilst she builds up her clientele.
Lily joined the Nu Yu team in August 2022 and she is currently studying for an NVQ2 in hairdressing.
Lily is often the first face you see when you come into the salon, and she will make you feel at ease and comfortable ready to enjoy your pamper.
Lily has training sessions on Tuesday afternoons, and is currently looking for models.
